Have you made plans for new years to go out of town or reservations at a hotel in state that is having a nice party with dinner and party favors? I will be at home, we did not make plans for an outing that night.

I think posts like this are kind of funny even if you are on a board like this where your identity is not known but people will post online I will be out of town on these dates. My home will be unoccupied. Come take what you want. lol

I am doing good knowing what my Thanksgiving plans are. No idea what is going on next year.

This New Year's Day is going to be so different for me this year.  For as long as I can remember, I have spent New Year's Day with my Granny.  She passed away last month so things are going to be very different this year.  Not really looking forward to it...
Have a wonderful day!

I think that we will be pretty mellow. I would rather stay in, have a few drinks, cook a nice meal to share with our two college age kids before they go on their evening party rounds,  and watch a bunch of movies untill eleven forty five. I would switch on the television at that time to see the different celebrations across the world and give my wife a passionate kiss that would last through the ten second count down. Most likely We will share dinner with the kids, my wife will get pretty shnookered, we will head to the neighbor's house, drink too much and have a wasted January first. Last year I worked from seven in the morning until eight in the evening which slowed down the alcohol consumption for me but everyone else in the family was in miserable shape.

As of right now, my plan is to stay home and do the count down with my family. I don't really like hanging out on New years Eve, I like to be home.

None yet. We don't get too excited for New Year's. It seems heavily based around drinking.  :-\ Maybe we'll find somewhere to go in the evening, but certainly not staying out that late! Haha.

We usually gather with our children and grandchildren for a weekend at the river, where there will definitely be a bonfire involved with s'mores early in the evening and sparklers from the fireworks tent, then sparkling grape juice at midnight. A 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle will be set up inside for our puzzlers, and we will play games around the dining room table.  I anticipate a lot of texting going on close to midnight, with teenagers in the house!

Well, now that I'm older and unexciting, I usually just stay home and watch movies or TV and have goodies on hand to eat.  Sometimes I will go out to dinner with friends earlier in the evening or cook myself something I really like at home, but for the most part, I just want to be home, warm, safe, comfortable, and able to drop off to sleep when I want.  Like I said, "Very exciting!"

Will more than likely be in church bringing in the New Year, as I do every year.
