Making chili tonight. Do you add spaghetti noodles or any type of pasta to your chili? I like mine with spaghetti noodles but also like it with rice or mac n cheese noodles.

I have never had any type of pasta in my chili.  I've not ever head of it before this thread.  I've added many types of beans when I make chili.  Add ons to my bowl of chili have included shredded cheese and sour cream.

I make "chili mac"....I throw macaroni in it.

Just finished a big batch of it, and plan to make another. Great tummy warmer in this insane chill in the MidWest.

I typically don't add noodles but you know what, that sounds like a great idea!  :)

No, I hardly eat chilii. I know it's a great winter weather food, though. I certainly will not add noodle to mine.

I do not add it directly to the chili but always prepare macaroni and have it on the side to let others add it along with cheddar cheese if they so wish.  Some of family likes the macaroni and some do not.

I don't add any pasta or noodles, but that does sound good. I like to put it on baked potatoes with cheese and sour cream.

I start with and big pot of chili, each night after the first we have it over something else.   Rice, Noodles, polentia, cornbread, corn chips and cheese. Then if their is even just a cup left we add a 1/4 block of cream cheese and use it for dips.

:turkey:   :snowman:   :turkey: Once and awhile I will eat chile with pasta noodles. Chile's good just plain most of the time, if its made right. Chiles a good food to eat when its cold outside.  :turkey:   :snowman:   :turkey:

No noodles in our chili.  But the idea of chili over mac-n-cheese sounds fantastic.

I have, once, in the past but, normally, no.  Then it's chili mac.   :)  I like crackers in my chili.

I personally don't eat chili with noodles, but many people I know eat chili with noodles on occasion - it's an economical way to stretch out the chili by adding noodles & a nice comfort food :)

I've never heard of adding rice to chili... interesting.

If its really meaty I would some pasta but if its just low amount I just toss it with some other stuff like a wrap or some fries.
