Think that everyone has someone that is annoying at sometime and you just have to move on and ignore it.  Best to steer clear of the negative energy.

I had a boss that was a pain in the butt. All the workers got along fabulously, but the boss bothered literally everyone else. It wasn't so bad, though because everybody had a lot of people around to complain to about it. Sometimes it was even fun to do that.

I volunteer at at soup kitchen and this one lady wants to boss everyone around and assign jobs.  Some people don't know how to handle her but I tell them to just do what they and ignore her.  I told her I didn't take that when I was getting paid and if she had been my boss I would find another job.  If you stand up to her she will leave you alone most of the time.

I have one annoying guy in my class who always talks just to hear himself talk. He's also a creep. There's other annoying people in my class too, but I just avoid them.

When you work you have to deal with so many personalities.  I had a boss who didn't like me said: Hi (name) I didn't see you and I responded in kind with Hi (Name) I didn't see you either.  She was pissed, but I really didn't give a damn.

A job I just finished was working for 99% women. Only 2 men. I will NEVER again work with a bunch of women. They do nothing but gossip and backbite and lie and keep something going ALL the time.

Somebody has to be in charge. If that person is her then you need to do what she asks. If that person is not her talk to the person in charge and tell them people are ready to stop volunteering.

I recently (within the past 6 months) changed jobs, because one of my co-workers (Joe) was micromanaging MY work, he would check everything I did, and if it was not to HIS standards he would report me to my boss, the environment became really toxic and my stress level went thru the roof, I am too old to be working like that; so I looked for a new job and as soon as I got one, I Left them on the dust.

The funny thing is that when I quit my manager got upset, not because I was leaving, but at the time I was doing it, we were 5 people, 1 manager, 1 supervisor and 3 employees, the supervisor and 1 employee where going on vacation and I quit, so it I was leaving only the manager and the pain in the ... co-worker, he want it me to "Ask" my new employer to hold my job for a MONTH, until everybody came back.  I ask why since "Joe" is here and he is THE EMPLOYEE that can do everything on his own.  Of course I left and let them deal with the consequences.

   How to handle annoying coworkers:
      -Ignore them... or
      -Avoid them

I work with a lot of great people  - and right now everyone between the 2 departments I bounce between are all women.  I love every one of them.  But at the same time, every one of them can and does annoy me at times.  I'm sure I do the same thing to them though.

I hated working with back-stabbers. I put up with it as long as I could, but flipped out one day when two girls who were wonderful to my face, talked nasty about me behind my back (which I overheard). I was so stressed from the job I had and after I overheard their remarks I gave my notice and never worked outside again. I was in that job for 6 years Hubby wasn't happy because it meant no Christmas party with surf and turf with that company. I did regret it after a while but one of my first -at home jobs was to be called back to help with end of fiscal year inventory control and then work at home for them for a while on a new program for inventory control (which didn't work).

My daughter is a franchise owner of a convenience store.  Sometimes I help her out and work for her.  A lot of the people who come in are the same way.  I think everyone should have to work with the public at least one time and maybe they would act better.

Every job has that one person.  At my work this person is really nice and has good intentions but her need to be in control all the time can be annoying.  Every once in a while I have to point it out to her and she usually backs off a little.
