I just got a new laptop today.  I haven't been on Fusion Cash for days since I needed to get a new computer.

I am wondering if the new computer will somehow be taken as a new user somehow and cause issues with my account.  I am connected to my own internet connection.

Thanks in advance.

I have changed out old laptop/computer in the pass and do not recall having any problems, so hope you will not but I guess that is something to think about.

I can't say for sure as I have never done it, but I think it is based on your IP address, not on the device you use... only thing you can do is try logging in, etc and see what happens... if you do have trouble, then come back here or put in a support ticket

A new computer doesn't make any difference.  It's based on your IP address, not the device you use.  You should not have any problem.

This is the correct response, it won't make any difference as long as you are using it from home.

Thanks everyone for the responses to my question regarding a new computer and Fusion Cash.  I appreciate your help.   I had thought I was ok as long as I am logging into Fusion Cash from my home address/IP address.  See you around the Forum!

I agree with the others. I imagine it will not be an issue as long as you continue to use your own, personal internet connection.

Sure it's ok, as long as your at home and under the same IP address.  I pretty much get a new inexpensive laptop every couple of years and have never had a problem.

I think as long as your IP address is the same, that'll be ok

Janet, congrats on getting a new computer.  I hope you didn't lose anything by having to replace an old one.  I've had that happen a couple of times since being a member of FusionCash and have never encountered any problems as a result.

The trick to avoiding that ever happening, is to take advantage of all the free cloud storage available to us (such as Gmail and Dropbox). I can take a brand new computer out of the box and have it ready to complete my daily routine for me in a matter of minutes.

I got a new one last Christmas and I had no issues.  previously I had used an old "backup" when I was having trouble with mine with no issue switching back and forth,  everything else was still the same.

I have changed out my laptops a few times since being on FC and it doesn't affect my usage or status.

I think my issue has been more when I have moved... I have been on FC for over 10 years and have moved 3 times - therefore new IP info.
