National Feral Cat Day!
« on: October 16, 2018, 10:38:00 am »
I have two or more homeless cats I let live in my backyard from the last couple of months ago, I call and they told me they are filled and cannot accept more cats. I have the nextdoor.com account, and I have decided to start asking for supplies for them because I cannot shooo them away because I gave them the starvation neighbor-lost-cat survey, than on the other-hand; everyone have a gr8 day because I just have enough to feed them  :present:  :cat:  What would you do, without being the badguy? Everyone is the victim.

I come from a family of animal lovers.  My brother just built a structure for his backyard for the wild cats to take shelter during bad weather.  It is carpeted and he feeds them everyday.  If he's gone, I go and feed them.  All wild creatures are welcome in my backyard.

I belong to a group on Facebook, "Friends of (my city) animals".   There is always people posting about helping Feral cats.  There are many videos online for making a shelter to protect them.   Maybe you can look into something similar in your town.  There are vets near me that will help also.

We see several cats pass through our backyard almost daily.   I don't know who owns them.... or if they are feral.  They do not come if we call them.  They are well filled out and well fed.   Since they are not in distress, I just enjoy watching them.  Yesterday, one had caught a squirrel.
