Are they accidents or a deeper problem?
« on: October 10, 2018, 10:30:26 pm »
I know a man who is accident prone. He accidently cracked his rearview car mirror, I replaced it and then weeks later cracked the one I replaced. Last week he broke my flat screen by accidently bumping into it because his cat scratched him. Then one month ago, he ran up on the curve trying to avoid a dog in the street, and bust two tires.  ::) Then he lifts up the cat tree that he put together and the round part the cat sleeps in breaks. Just last week he scratched up a very expensive wooden table stand.  What do you think is up with this behavior?
I just don't get it. I get that things can happen, but I'm very mindful of the things that I do especially if it's going cost me money to fix.

In my opinion it's simply a lack of attention and could be cured if he wanted to change it. I had a kid like that, but once he started paying to fix everything he changed.

I think he's being careless.  Focus.  We all need to focus.

I agree with the others, it’s either being careless or not paying attention to things.

    He is just careless.
He should pay more attention to his surroundings.

He needs to pay attention to what he is doing, some people can just do things in a hurry and not pay attention; perhaps if he had to be finanically responsible for some of these things, his focus might change! ???

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

Some times  I think hubby is  like that he seems to be careless or not paying attention a lot of times. Bugs the heck out of me and sometimes  it seems like he just doesn't care. I just don't know what it is.  And yet at times he is totally different  and watch's out all of the time.  Men.
