as far as keeping yourself level-headed in public,
i would recommend a couple big, deep breaths.
cracking my knuckles while doing so helps me too.
humming a song can take your mind off stress and
eases you into thinking about other things...

in general though, i like to take all my stress and
shove it into a big heaping pile of creativity.
that way, i can atleast get something out of my
emotions and even feel accomplished, instead
of feeling as though i'm trapped inside my skin
with no way of crawling out.

you know?

:) I went through my teens already. They were the very best years of my life. Busy, very busy...everything was fun, every day brought new activities. School life was very, very stressful...and also all the life changes...making new decisions and becoming an adult.

Being a teenager was the most boring part of my life so far. my mother never had enough money to bring us anywhere!

You know my baby sister in law is having a really rough time, shes 16. But her stress is both mental and physical. She lost both of her grandparents last year, her mom has overian cancer (stage 4) and on top of that shes pregnant with her long term boyfriend. So WAD all that up!! School has always been so easy for her though she gets straight A's she just acts out to get attention.

I remember my teens.  Good times and bad times.  High School was great, but home life was difficult.  Just pray for help every day to do what is right and for guidence(sp?), He will help you through anything.
