Does anyone have problems with Opinion Bureau surveys locking up your computer? EVERYTIME I get one, it locks my computer, the fan kicks on and I have to clean cache and memory to get rid of it.

If Opinion Bureau is the only survey site that is giving you trouble, then it's likely something with their system.  I've never had that experience with OB but I've had similar issues with other sites. 

When it happens to me, I do what you you: Clear history, maybe even shut down and re boot. 

I also make a note not to attempt any more surveys from the problematic panel until some time has passed.  Then I may try again.  Often times, I've seen that there was a glitch on their part.

I've had surveys with glitches but never any that locked up my computer... mostly the glitches keep me from finishing the survey

I do not try Opinion Bureau but I suggest that you stop attempting their surveys. It seems like it is too much trouble amd before things get worse, quit while you are ahead.

                    As little as surveys pay, I would NOT attempt one again at that panel.   The problems it causes just arn't worth it.

Have never had a problem with them but your surveys seems to take forever to load.

Yes, it happened recently on my desktop PC.  Opinion Bureau must have something that 'attaches' itself (not sure if it's just a cookie or not), but it takes a long time to get it to let go.  I had the exact same problem you experienced.  It certainly was pesky because I found myself chasing after that little compass logo used by Opinion Bureau when I thought I'd already deleted it.  I believe I had to shut down my PC and reboot.

Oops, I did it again!  I clicked on a 20¢ Tapresearch offer and there it was -- that Opinion Bureau logo!!  Please have mercy on me.  That survey holds you hostage for a long time.  It finally gave me the message:

You have already taken this survey.  Unfortunately, you can't take the same survey twice.

I'm stuck until I get a system message about closing all of my tabs.  You're forced to shut your system down to get rid of it!
