What is something you’ve always wanted to try but have been too scared to?

As I'm aging I am getting more and more nervous about flying in a plane.  Funny thing, when I was much younger I had no problems.  I even flew to Hawaii 3 different times.  However, I now will not fly during the winter season and am becoming more nervous about flying at any time.  Nonetheless, I have a thing or two on my so-called "bucket list" that will require flying so I may have to take a Xanax and a drink and deal with it!

Would have to be snorkeling.  Have always been afraid of the water because I am not that good of a swimmer but would love to see all the colors beneath the ocean

When I turned 50, I jumped out of an airplane.  It was a Tandem Dive, so I am here today to tell you about it!  I was hooked to the experienced jumper who actually pulled the cord and controlled our jump.  It was FUN, although I was scared to death on the plane ride up to the jumping altitude, even though the whole plane full of divers sang "Happy Birthday" to me!

I guess I've never experienced an adrenaline rush, so I have no desire to bungee jump or skydive. I don't see the point.

I hear you.I wish i had as well.My mom and dad were not beach people and had 6 children.None of us learned.

My wife and i have 1 son.My wife knew how to swim and when my son turned 5 she took him to the YMCA program for kids and he learned.

I would love to volunteer or teach in a third world country.  However I believe there is something inside me that scares me.  I am afraid of contracting a bad disease or parasite.
