I don't know what is behind your feelings on your b'day.  I am sorry it is such a hard event for you.

As for me, I will be 76. I hate getting older, but we all do.

Fortunately, I have a son, daughter, four grand-kids, and two great-grand-kids.  I have lived long enough to enjoy them all tremendously.

Many hard, sad, bad events in the 75 years, but grateful for this family.

I hope sincerely things get better for you.

Honestly, if you're alive it is a good day.  I always cry on mine but that's simply because of all those family members no longer with me to celebrate it.  It's a day about you and you should rejoice in it.  Take the day to do something you really like, even if it's listening to your favorite song or going to your favorite place to eat.  So long as you make it a great day.
