Everyday above ground, glorying in my family is a blessing for me! Birthdays always hold a special, happy aura for me even if there are dozens of things going wrong. I have never dreaded my birthday. I understand milestone birthdays can be a bummer for some people. I kind of had the 'I am getting too old' blues between age fifty one and age fifty four but am back to embracing life at age fifty five. I tend to calculate how many years I will have left when I read about celebrity deaths and get a bit more concerned when a bump, bruise or pimple sticks around longer than I perceive that it should but quickly forget about it by wrapping myself up in the happiness of family life and the burdens of work. Try to have an awesome birthday-they get better, I promise! Thank for the fresh post!

one way to look at birthdays iguess the older we get the more you don't like um. 61 don't much like it .I think if you can get to 80  and in good health then you can celebrate.good health is the main thing. oh and money enough to by meds and food pay for bills.
