Hurricane!!

Anyone else in the hurricane's path? I am and I'm very worried that my house will get destroyed/I'll be a shut-in this weekend. It's also my birthday this weekend. Some birthday I'm gonna have.

Are you in the mandatory evacuation area?   If you are could you tell me why you're not evacuating.   I'm sorry this is happening on your birthday, certainly not a way one wants to celebrate.

I'm not evacuating because I don't want to miss work. I was originally going to a wine festival for my birthday, but that's been canceled. Maybe go to the movies? Let's hope!!

If you are in the direct path why did you not evacuate?  From what I just saw it sounds like it will make landfall as a tropical storm.  Or maybe a Cat 3 but not as catastrophic as some are saying. Certainly not the worse thing to ever hit the US.  Not sure where that came from.

If you are in the mandatory evac area then you are not going to have to worry about working.  I am thinking you can't be in that area because the businesses (ie movies) will not be open either.  I have distant family that lives in the area and nobody is left.  They have all evacuated.  Except a few that refuse to leave and they have been told you are on your own.  We will NOT be coming in to rescue you.

My sister lives in Virginia Beach so they had to evacuate. Luckily for her she had planned on coming home to Louisville for awhile this same week so it wasn't as hard for her to leave. Anyhow happy birthday and stay safe!

Have listened to your governor he said it's gonna be the worst  storm.  I'd leave if I could. I know some prefer to stay but the rain alone will cause flooding.happy bday  stay safe.mgonna be some sleepless nights I'll bet.

Who really knows.  I just heard on the news this morning that it was now a Cat 2 Hurricane.  Then Yahoo says it is still a Cat 4.  I have also heard it is a now just a tropical storm and I am hearing on other sources it is going to wipe out half the US.  So who really knows.  Has the weather reports now been taken over by the FAKE NEWS?

This is ridiculous.  The should all be saying and reporting the same thing as far as what exactly the thing is categorized as.
