roomates and lies
« on: August 27, 2018, 07:46:37 am »
Welcome back
so as the titile  says  this is going to be quite the topic so let me ask why is it that when we live in the same space as other people why there is always so many problems whether it be your parents, siblings,or even roommates when were adults .

even if we like the idea of living with someone at first and the person is actually cool and yet we all eventually find ourselfs fighting why ?
i feel like i hear these problems everyday and usually the problems are someone is too messy or their all of sudden rude or a buzz kill or ya know in the case of a man and woman being roommate same old thing they start out freinds and than they sleep together and than before you know it someone is actually getting screwed over and kicked out at 5 am  .

they say that humans are not meant to be alone that were just naturally group mamals  and that if were alone and like constant alone time there must be somthing wrong with us but if everyone keeps leaving the group to where you cant help but be alone than what ?

so  do you think we  as humans are meant to be  alone or should we have a family or group to bond with ?

let me know  in comments

I've always heart the saying that you never truly know someone until you live with them. I think that is pretty much true. People may not do it intentionally but they usually try to put their best self forward until they are reasonably comfortable with others.  Then their true colors come out.

Sometimes I think I have seen and heard it all, from roommates to spouses. My room mate was also my niece. She wanted me to move in with her after her room mate left. I was already going to get an apartment. But she had signed a lease and it would have cost her to break it. so I said why not but for a short time and then  she would have to  find someone else.  She would go into my room and paw through stuff or leave the door open and her cats would get in and make themselves at home on my bed.  After the year was up and she could break the lease I was gone.  Ex spouses were even worse with all of their lies.

There's a new show on TV called "Castaways.,"  The contestants are dropped to fend for themselves on remote islands, and so far, they are totally alone unless they run into one of the other contestants that is in the vicinity.  Their mission is to survive until they are rescued or quit.  Several of the contestants who are alone have made comments about craving the company of another human being.  According to these folks, it is extremely difficult to be totally void of human companionship.

As for me, I find that I can be alone, it doesn't bother me. People are not easy to deal with. They do betray, disrespect, and full of deceit. Taking advantage of other people has become common place. People use each other for a means to an end. In order to keep drama down, I prefer to stay by myself mostly.
I read people quickly and know who to avoid for my own good. You should always "keep  your heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life." Proverbs 4:23

When it comes to roommates, the one that has their name as the owner or renter, always gets screwed.  for some reason the renter tries to renegotiate rent after they move in and when it doesn't work they stop paying.  I live alone now. Thank God

I think other people are necessary. I get so tired of talking to myself. I never learn anything new!

Did you ever notice that you can learn things from absolutely everyone?

People tend to like things a certain way. Unless you are close to the person you live with you can have problems. If you are talking family and you love each other you will find a way to work things out and work with each other to ensure that things go smoothly when living together.

We're meant to be around people, but regardless of who you're near, there's always going to be some sort of conflict. My ex-husband and I fought so much, I eventually kicked him out. I now live with a roommate who I for the most part get along with, but even he annoys me with the messes he makes in the kitchen and the fact that he's always behind on his rent payments. I think I'm a bit on the antisocial side, and if that makes me a sociopath, so be it. LOL. I like quiet times with my cats and peaceful naps alone.

I would only allow someone to be your roommate unless you really trust someone.

I am all for the family and other relationships no matter how difficult it can be.  That makes it more interesting.

Hello! :D :)

I think we do need human companionship at some sort of level. If not by having roommates and living with someone else then by other means such as social media, paying companion sites, and even pen pal. It's no surprise that having roommates can be difficult. People lie, cheat, and are un-loyal that is part of life unfortunately nonetheless like everything else we have to do the best that we can. :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:
