We have been having the normal hot humid August thunderstorms.  My poor dog hates thunder so I general know when a storm is coming by the way he acts.  He is better at predicting the storms than the TV weatherman ... LOL

Where I am (Mid-West), it's "rain, rain, please come this way".

Way too hot and too muggy for too long, with little relief.

An hour in the garden, and I feel like a fried egg.

   :glasses-nerdy:   :silly:  That seems like a lot of rain in a short time. I would surely would be wanting sunshine for awhile, if it rained that much. Certain places are getting more stormy weather than other places. Sure love the rain but to much is to much!    :glasses-nerdy:   :silly:

I would love to get a little rain here it would certainly help the firemen out with all of our wildfires.  Went on vacation to Arizona last week and got caught in a lot of monsoon rains.  I loved all of them, but I did not have to go out to work or anything.

For a while it rained just about everyday.  But here lately it has not rained much in my town.  The towns around us got some.  Hope to get some pretty soon.

In 3 weeks, we only had 3 days where it didn't rain. Towns that never flood are flooding. Two towns have been flooded 3 times in the past 2 weeks. It's horrible! They're calling for rain all week this week again.

I'm so glad we built our home way back from the road. The old house used to get flooded from the tiny creek in heavy rains...and we live in the middle of a  hill. Cliffs and hills are slipping and blocking the highways.

This has not been a very good summer. Either hot and humid or rain.

Hello! :D :)

It has been raining a lot here in New York as well. I'm missing the sunny days of the summer. Summer is almost over and I'm trying to enjoy the last heat days! :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:

We are looking for some more rain here in Texas.  It was lucky enough that we got 5+ days of on and off rain in early August, but now we're parched again.  It may happen around Labor Day.  Then we may see a :rainbow:
