Bagels and Cream Cheese

I love bengal and cream cheese.  I love to put butter on first then cream cheese.

You can't grow up in NY and not eat bagels and cream cheese.

This is true, bagels, cream cheese and lox, yum! We moved south when I was a teen in the early 80's and the only bagels found were Lenders (frozen) not quite a NY bagel.
Now 30+ years later I can find decent bagels and some lox in town.  As other said not really on my diet but I got a couple of bagels, cream cheese and lox for Dad for Father's day.  I probably will at Christmas too.

Both sets of my grandparents and my parents came from New York so I was raised with the stuff.  'Til today my dad still has to have a bagel with cream cheese for breakfast.  I don't know if it's a New York thing or what but I have yet to run into a New Yorker that didn't eat that combo.

i eat bagels and cream cheese but i a jelly on it too. it think both cream cheese and jelly go well on a bagel and it tastes great

I love bagels and cream cheese.  I prefer the egg bagels as they are much moister than the regular bagels which can be a little dry.

I love bagels and cream cheese.  My favorite cream cheese for a bagel is honey walnut, oh so good.

I grew up with bagels and cream cheese. I love strawberry cream cheese on a toasted bagel. What a treat.

I love bagels...not a big fan of original cream cheese but I love love love the strawberry and blueberry favored cream cheese!

I love bagels and cream cheese but never realized that there were other flavors of bagels until I recently shopped online. Whole wheat, Blueberry,Cinnamon raisin,Pumpernickel,Onion and Honey wheat.  With all these flavors I did a online search and found 30 bagel toppings for breakfast, Lunch, and snacktime.  Can't wait to try these. YUM!

I'd eat them if someone brought them in. When i used to work in a corporate office people would often bring them in to share.

I grew up in the South, too, and don't remember eating bagels and cream cheese as a child, but I do love them now.  I'm not sure I can trace back to my first bagel, but I DID have cream cheese growing up.  My mom made a Jello black cherry salad and always topped it with cream cheese and nuts.  Bagels and cream cheese are not exactly on my diet any more, but whenever we are traveling, and I go to a hotel breakfast bar, I usually indulge for old times sake.
