Generic brand products are often of equal quality as a branded product; however, the quality may change suddenly in either direction with no change in the packaging if the supplier for the product changes.

No. That's six of one thing and half a dozen of another to me. I focus more on the price.

The person above brings up a good point. Generic should be cheaper or less in cost than brand name. Yet, sometimes it is not. This is total crap about raising the price on generic to allow people to move up, total crap! It's ripping people off and only going to lead to having to return money to people, whether on the whole or individual. It does not save a life or prolong a life, this excuse should not be used.

I'd rather get name brand than generic. I've tried different generic brands and it rarely is worth it.

I spend a good bit extra for the right brand, but it's not necessarily the brand names you might think of.  It's all about buying and eating healthy for me.

I will try a generic grand.  Most times it's the same exact thing as the name brand just different packaging but some brands so taste different.

I use a lot of store brands but still use the name brands for tea coffee and other things.

When I check the ingredients they're often the exact same thing.

Generic brand products are often of equal quality as a branded product; however, the quality may change suddenly in either direction with no change in the packaging if the supplier for the product changes.
