Has anyone figured out a better way to set the default to your local city instead of typing in the zip for a search every time you visit?

Not sure how I did it but it always has my local weather when I pull it up.   I figured I did it when I first started.  Sorry, wish I could be of more help.

I, too, like how my local weather automatically came up prior to whatever happened about a month ago.  I thought it might have been because of updating my computer? Also, my horoscope hasn't changed in about 4-5 months. What is up with PTC?

They changed the service they were using.

I am not quite sure what to tell you. I looked at my PTC weather page and it automatically shows the weather in my location.  I do not recall making any sort of changes in the website settings or on my computer.

I use Chrome too and get some midwestern city. I do think I just figured out that it must be because I clear cookies every day and that must wipe it out.

Like some of the others, I am having no problem with the weather. My city always comes up and it is always accurate.

I am in Texas and it is only a matter of how hot it will be today. There is not much that you can count on these days but you can always count on Texas to be hot and often miserable in the very long summer.

i use Chrome, too, and clear my history et al every day, too. My town automatically pops up when I'm on that site. But a month or two ago, it changed to Seattle, WA. That's the other side of the country! I changed it back and it seems to be sticking to my town once again. i don't put the zip code in; i put my town and state in the box.

Mine was correct until recently, it goes to my mailing address now.   We have I tiny post where we live that is only open for 2 hours early of a morning that is a mile from the house. the one it default to is 17 miles from where we live so have to keep changing it. The one FC use is most accurate for where I live.

My PTC weather is not correct.  My PTC weather defaults to a nearby city.

my city comes up as well... it might have something to do with clearing your cookies as it doesn't remember where you are... so you have a choice; clear cookies and type it in each day, or  keep cookies and have it saved... it's a preference thing... I clear my cookies from time to time but don't need to regularly as I have my setup saving cookies from particular sites for the most part

I clear my cookies and still get my  city of Las Vegas where it is never cool lol.
