Get rid of Refferer?
« on: October 01, 2009, 02:11:34 pm »
I don't want my referrer to make any money off of me, is there a way I can un-link my account with his/hers? I don't even remember having a referrer...

Is it like an ex-bf or something? lol. It's not that bad, and you're not losing anything. And wouldn't you want someone to stick with you?

Even if you sign up on your own without a referrer, the site will pick a member at random and use them as your referrer. At least, that's how other sites operate - I don't know if FC's the same, I haven't found anything regarding that.

So no, there's no way that I know of to disconnect from a referrer. I'm a little curious as to why it's a concern of yours, but it's your opinion and you're freely entitled to it. Sadly, though, there's nothing that can be done.

How can you tell if you have someone who referred you?  Maybe you do not have someone who referred you? (especially since you do not remember)  I just joined on my own.

It tells you at the bottom of the left column and if it's not there, you don't have one.

I can't see any way something like that would ever be supported.

Further, why would you not want them making money off of you?
If they sent you here, they deserve to get something for it, no?

I can't recall how I found this place exactly :)

But if someone in particular had sent me here, I think they'd deserve it.

No, this site doesn't work like that.

FC doesn't assign you a random referrer. Either you earn them, or you don't get them.

OT:
Yay ^_^ my 200th post.

I stand corrected. Thanks!

I wouldn't be proud enough to post that in public, why would anyone want to register for an online money making program unreferred when it costs you NOTHING to help someone out?

I also registered without a referral.  Not everyone joins using a referral, as not everyone knows anything about referrals or how they work.  Not everyone is knowledgeable or an expert in the beginning.    :)

Why would I be ashamed that I was smart enough to find a great site like this on my own?

Having a referrer is like having a mentor.  The person who refers someone can be their helper.  They can help teach you how to get referrals too so you too can make money for others.  Its a great concept.  You learn, you teach  then repeat.  Help as many people as
you can and you will soon be successful.

I don't mind being someone's referral, although for this site I think I found it on my own through a search engine. This was one of the first sites I joined, and back then I didn't even know there was such a thing as making money from referrals. The only thing I don't like about being someone's referral is that I feel like I have to work harder so it will be worthwhile for them to have me.

It doesn't change a thing, most of the time they don't even know who you are. But in the case of Fusioncash just setting up your account earns them a buck, so why not? I have found sites on my own before, but usually they have a referral link and if they don't, I go look for someone to sign up under.
