Me husband is the swimmer in our family.  He is beautiful to watch - so smooth and graceful.  I do water aerobics but you don't need to swim for that.  I did take swimming lessons in my 30's, but don't really feel comfortable in the deep end of the pool.  I need to have my feet on solid footing.

I like the pool and I walk the beach, they say the ocean is too full of animal pee.

I prefer a pool. I tend to panic if I don't feel safe. 

A pool is not as big and scary as the ocean. You can't get eaten by something in a pool.

I LOVE  both.  But for swimming I prefer a pool.  The ocean just to play around in.  I do like surfing, but that is not a lot of swimming.

Sad to say, I have never really learned how to swim, went to Girl Scout camp, got in the pool, but was afraid I was going to drown. Just stayed holding onto the sides of the pool.

Pool or beach?

I have not been swimming in years. Last time I did go was to a water park and I wore a t-shirt which is uncomfortable when it gets wet. And that was a really long time ago.

I like the beach, but I don't swim anymore.  I kayak and fish when I'm at the lake.
