I almost wish it was Christmas, just to get chilled breezes, bundle in a jacket, and the air feels clean (then I do not wheeze).

The only thing getting me through the heat is my veggie garden. Then I go back inside till the heat wave is over, and video chat with the grandkids.

You know it is funny the part about Christmas being right around the corner when my boys were young we struggled financially with their birthdays both being in the summer (one end of June, one end of July) then trying to come up with Christmas money to buy presents for our kids and extended families. Now I have a little more money and no family except for my two sons.  Oh well life changes right?  I can't believe the year has gone by so fast.

I know!  My granddaughters are visiting from AZ and CA for the summer so I knew it was going to fly by.  They have one full week left and then a few days the next week and they go home.

My girlfriend went to Walmart yesterday and saw a couple dressed up like Santa Clause and Mrs. Clause. It sure seems like it is coming fast. :snowman:

I love Christmas season, but summer if my favorite.  I do not wish for the cold.  I love how relaxed people can get.  I can always go in when it gets too hot.  I  :heart: :heart: :heart: my garden :rose: :pumpkin:
