Funny this topic came up because just day before yesterday I read comments from a Canadian citizen who stated that some Canadians believe we are headed toward a civil war. I am not going to get into the politics of this although some of you have, but I will state that division of opinion has always been here but the civility, bullying, nastiness, righteousness, and intolerance needs to change. Funny thing is, many of such comments come from so-called "Christians" who claim to follow the Golden Rule. Such hypocrisy!
I didn't start this to get in to a political war of words but yes that is exactly where it went which proves what I am saying is true.
The things is use to people disagreed and that was the end of it. Today you disagree and people try to get you fired from your job, make you loose your business, burn your house down when you aren't home or even if you are home, shoot at you, try to run you out of the road, and on and on. It is to where if someone disagrees with you then you think you have the right to physically punish them. It is ridiculous. Or putting stuff on the internet to try to ruin their life.
As for insulting Christians - just because someone says they are a Christian and does something ridiculous doesn't mean they are. Most likely they aren't. And just because a person is a Christian doesn't mean they can't be pushed to the point of being upset or defending themselves.
Honestly, like someone on Twitter said - the civil war is already here. And I tend to agree with that. It's like all the restaurants and businesses who are refusing to serve anyone who supports Trump or Republicans. That's find but the welfare bums can't keep your business afloat. And these same people who scream and protest if a restaurant owner refused to serve them for being a democrat.
