“I suggest a new strategy, R2. Let the wookiee win.”

But trump has such tiny HANDS to be the Wookiee! I don’t get it!

There are power that be that want to keep the People divided and constantly fighting each other... so we never turn our attention to them.

I agree, like gutting Social Security and Medicare (Paul Ryan says they are welfare programs.  I thought I had been paying into them since my first job!) while we are distracted with other things.  So that the very wealthy get tax breaks that will continue while lower brackets are temporary, because they say money will trickle down.  Been proven time and time again it does not.

I don't see how there could actually be a civil war because the two polar political opposites and interspersed among all the states. You'd have to get one side to move to one party of the country and the other to another to be able to start up a war I would think.

Funny this topic came up because just day before yesterday I read comments from a Canadian citizen who stated that some Canadians believe we are headed toward a civil war.  I am not going to get into the politics of this although some of you have, but I will state that division of opinion has always been here but the civility, bullying, nastiness, righteousness, and intolerance needs to change.  Funny thing is, many of such comments come from so-called "Christians" who claim to follow the Golden Rule. Such hypocrisy!

It is so sad that our country seems to be  coming  full circle. those who have want to control those who haven't and those  who have  not want all that those who it work for it to give it up.  Sorry to say but so much of it  was started  in the   last  8 years before  President Trump took over. BLM  is so ingrained in some now  that I don't know  where it is going to end. But don't really think it will al be very good.

You are correct. The last president is who is to blame for all this.  But it is to the point now that everyone hates everyone else.

I don't hate anyone. God doesn't like that stuff. I just wish people would debate issues instead of bad-mouthing and bullying those who don't agree with them. Perhaps we're no longer intelligent enough to do that. After all, that takes time to explore the issues and consider the other person's point of view. :confused1:

Unfortunately, we live in a very divided country right now; hopefully things will get better but our elected leaders seem to make things worst, just not sure where we are headed right now!

Many in  this world have the attitude as long as you believe in God and try to be a good person thats enuff!!

Well is it?How did Jesus feel RE the Pharisees?

https://www.jw.org/en/publications/books/jesus/ministry-in-judea/condemn-hypocritical-pharisees/

Yes its even in all your bibles!!

Jesus said in the final days of this satanic system there would be godly devotion but many would prove false to its power. The Pharisees example God used in the bible was to educate Gods true followers what to expect.Sheep in wolves clothing another way to put it.Rotten fruit. The illustrations are timeless warnings.

All I can say is get out and vote.  A change is needed sooner rather than later.   :peace: :peace: :peace: :peace:

We got the change we needed with the last presidential election!

And your comment is a prime example of what I was talking about.  He has done a lot of good since he went in to office.  And you make fun of how he looks. But if someone done that to you I guarantee you would cry foul and say they were bullying you.

If Social Security is welfare then they need to stop taking money out of my check every week making me pay in to it.  Social Security is NOT welfare.

I am not rich at all.  But since the tax cuts went in to effect a few months ago my pay check went up because less taxes are being taken out of my check.

No you wouldn't.  Everybody is already fighting with each other.  Look at some of the middle eastern countries the whole country is fighting with each other. If you watch you will see it happening more and more. It's like when somebody gets mad at a business and they put crap on social media and the person ends up loosing their business.  And the person running their pie hole may not even be telling the truth.  Or they are just being stupid and trying to cause problems.

I didn't start this to get in to a political war of words but yes that is exactly where it went which proves what I am saying is true.

The things is use to people disagreed and that was the end of it.  Today you disagree and people try to get you fired from your job, make you loose your business, burn your house down when you aren't home or even if you are home, shoot at you, try to run you out of the road, and on and on.  It is to where if someone disagrees with you then you think you have the right to physically punish them.  It is ridiculous.  Or putting stuff on the internet to try to ruin their life.

As for insulting Christians - just because someone says they are a Christian and does something ridiculous doesn't mean they are.  Most likely they aren't.  And just because a person is a Christian doesn't mean they can't be pushed to the point of being upset or defending themselves.

Honestly, like someone on Twitter said - the civil war is already here.  And I tend to agree with that.  It's like all the restaurants and businesses who are refusing to serve anyone who supports Trump or Republicans.  That's find but the welfare bums can't keep your business afloat.  And these same people who scream and protest if a restaurant owner refused to serve them for being a democrat.
