Only in America.  People just sit around an think of things to sue someone for, the coffee to hot, not enough nuggets in the box, cheese, you didn't speak etc.  Only in America.

i agree. It's a sue-happy  world today. I can understand serious things like a true injury but these people are crazy. Can I sue for them putting pickles on my 'burgers? I hate pickles on a burger, yet they put them on every time. Can I sue because they put too much ketchup on the purgers? i have to waste french fries to scrap the ketchup off.  I want a piece of the pie, too.

When I was a kid staying with my grandparents, grandmother got a cass of coke. I usually don't drink soda but it was a hot day so I grabbed a bottle and opened it. I took my first sip and spit it out! It was horrible! I looked at the bottle and there in the bottom was "some green stuff." Never knew what it was but grandmother called the local coke distributor plant. They came and got the yucky stuff and gave grandmother.......a case of coke! No one ever sued over stupid stuff. They accepted whatever the company was willing to do to make it right and most people were happy with that. As for me, I never touched another coke after that.

Nor do I   - 7 plus years i have not, and have not been in a target since the breach and have not been in a Walmart in 7 1/2 years !!

These days people sue for just about anything, I would like to know how  diner came up with the $5M dollars figure; maybe something will be in the news as to how this will pan out, brands like to protect their names so they may settle something out of court!

Love the Walmart in my area, still sells firearms and that's where I get my 9MM Winchester for a decent price...got nice Generals tires there for "Fred" at $125 apiece on sale...got 2 Walmarts close by but only go the gun one...almost worked there a few months ago.

The fast food restaurants do not make you fat. They do not make you come in and buy something and stuff in down your throat. It is a choice. And one burger every now and then is not going to make you fat anyway.
