I hear it's harder to make money with youtube now than it was before.
That is a myth kept alive by those who tried and failed, so they would have an excuse for failing.

If you have always wanted to do something like that, I would be very interested in what is holding you back. Once you have done a few, making videos is not that time consuming and can be accomplished with free tools found online.

As far as it working, it's far too early to tell. I am mostly working on outside websites to attract visitors and subscribers by leaving little hints on how they can find me (like I did here) and that is a slow process.

I am retired with nowhere to go and all day to get there, so I think patience will pay off in the long run.

If any of you want to track me down, I would be more than happy to share what I learn and help you get started.

Yes, I would. I had a small internet marketing biz going on years ago.  Had to stop it for years, and trouble getting back into the groove.

I am a great-grandmother now, and the grandkids are grown. Wondered if I should try again.   :rose:

As long as you are reasonably healthy and have time available, why not?

I stopped years ago to help my son raise four kids.

I am reallly out of the groove, low on funds, and old/tired :)

But still thinking bout it.

That sounds very interesting. I've always had some curiosity about how that works myself. I'm glad to hear you've had some success.

Good for you, OldBuddy.  You seem to have more patience, desire to research this kind of stuff, and interest in tech than I have.  I wish you luck and continued success.  Just keeping up with three survey sites is more than enough for me!
