We have an antenna.  We pick up quite a few stations even though we live in the country.  We actually watch more stations on our antenna than on cable when we had it.  We also have a firestick and watch a lot of the good ol' shows on Kodi.
Have a wonderful day!

Just bought a firestick and as soon as I can manage it we shall consider getting rid of cable.

We have an antennae and when we first got it we could pick up a lot of stations.  Not sure what happened but we've lost several stations in the last year or so.  I'm thinking about replacing the one we have so we'll for sure be able to watch Last Man Standing when it starts airing again.  We have Roku and Netflix but watch Netflix the most.  Our satellite bill went up to $100 a month for the basic package so I had it cut off several years ago.  I can't imagine we'd ever go back to satellite.

We don't have many choices where we live can only get local stations out of  Texas which is  100 miles  away. we used to get local from N.M. but that has now  gone away. They are 165 miles away. so we are stuck with dish or directv or cable. Well dish is cheaper right now. As for Netflik. if they are going to  have the Obamas as  major figures I will be darn if I buy into that one. So I guess we are stuck with what we have.

Actually there are so many, it just depends on the price.  You have sticks now such as the ones from Amazon then there are subscriptions such as Netflix and Hulu.  Then there is the digital box when they changed the tv waves to digital making an antenna obsolete.

Library, occasional redbox an local video store.  I'e heard of one called pureflix which is something I would be interested in trying out.  It seems there hasn't been much on t.v. for years - I mean we're more likley to put in dvd's of older sitcoms than watch newer shows and movie releases.

Cable has truly turned into a joke that I don't find the least bit funny.  My hubby and I have been turning to Amazon Prime.  We actually have a cable antenna around here somewhere that we need to hook up.  I also personally like YouTube.

Before we had cable, which I guess we could abbreviate bc, we had Dish.  I liked Dish.  We also like Roku.
