Do you have a close family?

I'm lucky to have a close family.  Some of us don't see each other too often but we're  always  there when one of us needs something.

I feel emotionally close to my family, even though they are not close physically.  They all live too far away

I ran away at age 14 and was married out of the country at age 16.  My family and i (9 sisters and 2 brothers) did not see other for 24 years.  We were never close and it gets worse.

I have been without family since my mother died in 2007...  its very strange, but Christmas shopping is a breeze , all my family is gone. My grand parent were all passed when i was just 12 , My dog Bunches is my only family.  I have a very small list of friends, my best friend (buddy)  took his life on the 21st of Dec. and I found him it  Really sucked !! They say God only gives you what you can handle but I have to tell you finding someone who put a gun to their head, IS not something anyone should ever have to handle, scary part was he wanted me to come to his house and had called 3 times. Cops think he was planning to take me with, as there were 2 bullets in the gun one was used.  Made my being alone at Christmas even worse.  Sorry for the sad story!

Wow. So sorry for your loss. I'm glad you weren't there with him!

we are not as close as i like..but everyone gets along...but when you get older you do wish everyone ws closer than they are...but the young ones have their lives to live and someday will be wishing the same thing

We have a very close Family. Two of my three kids still live with my Husband and I and my middle son lived married to his wife with us and had three babies while living with us. They moved right next door not too long ago.

My family is Italian therefore extremely close

Its sorta happening right now with my family most of my sister are distant and my nephew as well now, Even during holidays they tend to skip it.

My parents and I are close but the rest of my family not really at all. Some of my cousin's, I have not talked too in 25 or more years. I think I will keep it that way though.

Yeah, but I also have a huge family so not everybody is close.
