Mother's Day gift ideas?

I have found it is difficult to go wrong with diamonds for any occasion. My wife gets a diamond (worth at least one hundred dollars) for Christmas, Mother's Day, Birthdays, Anniversary and every time we argue (which is, undoubtedly, always my fault). We have a jeweler that allows us to accumulate diamonds and upgrade our current diamonds with the installment diamonds. My Wife has diamond earrings and a Diamond necklace and she takes turns upgrading them. I think her necklace diamond is just under four carats with exceptional clarity, color and cut. We are about to celebrate our twenty fifth anniversary in nine months and I want to surprise her with a nice trip and a slightly bigger diamond. My wife can pass these down to my daughter when she is done wearing them.

It is had to buy my mom clothes because she is so funny about what she likes. I was thinking of flowers but I want to find something else to go with that.

Depends on your mom. Nobody on here can tell you that. What does she like? Some would like candy, some things to plant in the yard, some things to set up around the house, or just whatever. Gift cards to somewhere to eat? A day at a spa (if she likes that sort of thing). Hard to say if you do not know the person.

My kids have asked me what I want, I couldn't think of anything so I said just surprise me.  My next to the oldest daughter got me a spinbrush for my face- I know because the receipt came to my email

I have not gotten my mother a mother's day gift yet. She is very difficult to shop for. If you buy jewelry, perfume or cloths, she never wears them and she does not like to go out. The only time she leaves the house is to go to work or run errands.

Wish my mom was here to purchase something.  She always loved perfume and nice dinner with all your daughters.  Each year my daughter ask me what I want and tell the same thing each year and it is just spend the day with me planting and having dinner.

My mother died when I was 9. I always get my daughter a gift because she is the mother of my grandsons. <3

I no longer have my mom with me to celebrate.   All I want is for my son to spend time with me.   I believe he will cook dinner and (hopefully) clean up the kitchen afterwards.

I do gift card and she can use as she pleases; unless she has mention something specific she would like to have, she is 86 years young, so very hard to get anything she does not already have; she seems to like the gift card especially if it is non store specific like visa; that way she can even use to help with her grocery purchases.
