That's awesome.  I love those kinds of conversations.  I watch Youtube videos and the ones I love the most are two friends playing something.  I don't remember what the video was but they were watching the intro and one asked "where is my coke" and the other sorta brushed him off and mentioned something else then later he says, "now let me watch this intro and enjoy your coke."

I laughed way too long about that simple little exchange but it's things like that where it's humor that can be missed if you aren't paying attention.  You have the traditional slapstick comedy where it's right in your face and pretty obvious why it's supposed to be funny, and then you have this underlined funny things that I love cause it's like an inside joke to me.

It still makes me chuckle every time I think about it.  This kind of humor sticks with you.

One of my neighbors was shot in the head about 20 years ago.  The doctors told his family that he would be in a vegetative state, probably for the rest of his life.

They were wrong.  He has recovered, mostly.  He is somewhat childlike in his actions and mental processes.  Comparable to a 13 to 15 year old.  He can, and will, talk about movies and video games for hours.  And God and the Bible.

That's the background.

This morning, he was picking up trash around the apartment complex, and stopped by my back door to say hello, and talk a little.
He was telling me about Adam and Eve, and how Adam lived to be 900 years old.  He said "Back in those days, they had to live a long time, because there were no more people around, so they had to make a lot of babies."

I asked him, "So wait, if there were no more people around, where did Cain get his wife?"

He said, "Off the internet, I guess...you can order anything online!"

Made my day... ;D

LOL.  Well. smh.  That sounds like something a little kid would come up with.  The 4 year olds at church have told me some interesting stories.  But yeah, that was a good one. haha

Get stories; thanks for sharing all of you!  I know modern day miracles happen through God and your story Adriarobi was especially touching.

Your story made me smile. I hate that it happened to him, but he seems alright now.

On an oddly related note, I just found out that there was a drug bust at a house about two blocks away. I have been driving by that house for years and had no idea.

People these days have no patience for God. They just wanna shut off life support as soon as something bad happens. Thanks for reminding us otherwise!

That is cute and funny.  Great story!

Your story reminds me of the time the little boy told me in Sunday School that God had to part the Red Sea for Moses so it wouldn't get the tablet wet the Commandments were saved on.

Thank you for your great story.  Gave me a good chuckle.

I'm so glad it made you smile.  We all need a little pick-me-up from the bad days.

A big chunk of his brain was missing, and still is.
The doctors had done all they could for him.
They took him off life support.
And Life Support kicked in.

Sometimes you have to let go and let God.  Even doctors know this.
