Wells Fargo Hit With $1 Billion In Fines

In the upcoming weeks try this: Visit any Wells Fargo branch whether you have an account there or you don't.  Pay close attention to how much caring customer service you get.  I can almost guarantee that the staff will go out of their way to make you feel special. 

You will most likely get the proverbial red carpet treatment.  I'm only saying this because that's just what happened the last time there was a Wells Fargo Fiasco.

Not nearly enough.   It doesn't even come close to the profits they made by defrauding people.

I have never had an issue with wells fargo or knew anyone who did. I was surprised to see this. I had issues with bank of amerce and so does most people that I know.

They behaved as though they had learned their lesson, but before the apology is out of their mouths, they are caught cheating customers again.

This bank needs to close its doors.

My daughter has a loan with them and every few years just get money back.

I've never had any dealings with Wells Fargo and sure don't plan to after hearing all that!  Credit Card companies and other businesses make enough money off people without having to cheat or defraud them.

OMG, I am so glad that I ended my business with Wells Fargo three years ago. Since that occurred, I've heard nothing but negative things about that institution.

Not nearly enough.   It doesn't even come close to the profits they made by defrauding people. 

This is on top of everything they had to back from the fraud scandal. All the "profits" from the fraud had to be paid back.

Wells Fargo gave me a bad impression a few years ago when they tried to prematurely end my introductory 0% financing on a new credit card. I had to send two registered letters to their head office before they agreed to the original terms of the card agreement I signed up for. I found that extremely shady, so once I paid off my balance, I got rid of that credit card.

I've been seeing that on the news lately, I have an account with them, but it's not having to do with any loans, just a regular account.

We had accounts and home mortgage with Wells Fargo and never had any problems.  But if they're defrauding their customers, there are consequences.

I use an internet bank and it is so much easier. At least they are upfront about what they are there for.
