I just saw "I Can Only Imagine" and it has been ages since I saw a movie that actually made me cry. It was a true story about a boy who grew up being abused by his father after his mother left them and ended up writing a song about how God changed his dad from a monster into someone he loved.

I totally loved this movie. I am going to read his book now too to find out all the stuff that was not in the movie; like why his dad was like that. I heard (word of mouth) from someone who said that his dad was a great football player who was loved by the community he lived in. Then he got hurt, got a job on the highway and was hit by a semi and thrown 500 feet away or something like that. Anyway, he ended up in a coma and was a mean guy after that. Interesting.
