If it makes you feel good you should. I dye to change my haircolor every once in a while, but I'm not gray yet. I don't think dying your hair has the same stigma it used to.

This older woman I know decided to try the hair dye deal which looked ridiculous(her hair went from natural to black shoe polish) I was going to ask her if she used the whole can of spray paint but she would have died of embarrassment .

I'm 61 years young and I'm contemplating on whether to go grey or not, I'm tired of being a slave to the hair dye. How old were you when you went all grey?

Hello! :D :)

I actually started going gray at the age of 31 now at 35 more grays are showing up. I actually never dyed my hair except for this one time I tried a rinse which didn't work at all so I guess I never colored my hair and I never will. Let nature color my hair a perfectly imperfect beautiful color. :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:

In a world where ppl constantly complain about the effects of chemicals and what they do to ppl,how is putting chemicals on your hair/in your scalp a good thing ?   You women in your pursuit of vanity just destroy your hair,it's not chemo doing it but you're old and going grey ?

In my area in a 2 mile radius there  is 1 hair or nail salon, barbershop every other block  which tells you something.I think it's all the stupidest sh+t from the nail crazes-idiotic hairstyles/cuts. I hope after death there is a judgement /"this is your life"  "So Juanita you spent 5 years of your life and 50 thousand dollars on your nails, you'll be cleaning the latrines in Hell barefoot with your bare hands for 5 years . Enjoy !!!!"

It's a personal decision and each person needs to do what seems right for them.  I dye mine every 8 weeks or so and it's about that time now.

I have medium blonde hair, the same color as my father. My father is 71 and barely has any gray hair visible. I'm hoping I'll have the same results as him.

I am 48 and decided to quit coloring my hair. It really has damaged my hair badly. My gray roots are coming through quickly.

Oh! It depends on the nature and origins of your hair color problems.

Being Irish and Native American I was totally gray at about 25.  I have been dying my hair since that time...I think now it would be white not gray.  It just makes me feel better when it is colored.

Lucky, my husband's family is Scandinavian and all have very few gray strands into their 70's and 80's.

I am 33 and I have grey hair starting to come in, in my facial hair.  It's not on my head yet, but it won't be long.  I am pretty determined to never dye my hair.
