I keep imagining that it looks like sliced beets.

I'm not really interested in sliced ketchup.  I like to control the amount I use on fries etc.  So for me this is a waste of time and all the extra plastic is adding to the land fields.

I saw something about this the other day, but couldnt figure out by the article I was reading, if it was already being produced, or it was just being thought of, I thought it was quite clever

Has anyone else heard about this? There's a company that is now producing sliced ketchup (think like sliced cheese) and they are trying to sell them to restaurants to "speed up production". They are allegedly non-GMO and gluten free. Would any of you buy a sliced ketchup? How would we dunk our fries? :(

I was paid to watch a video about this company on another site. The company is marketing this ketchup as no more messy spills from bottled ketchup! I personally would not purchase this after watching the video because it looked highly processed or a piece of red thin plastic. Yuck!

It'll probably be good on a hamburger.

Naw, part of the charm of ketchup is pouring, smacking the bottle, getting it where you want it, and gooyness.

Looks icky, I will pass. Thanks

i don't like ketchup/catsup so I would never buy it.

I just heard yesterday about Heinz making a mix of mayonnaise and ketchup and they are going to call it Mayochup or Ketchonnaise.  I might buy that. It's not a dark red. it's about the color of Thousand Island dressing, more like a pink color.

This idea sounded interesting until I saw the pictures .. they look gross.

I think I will pass on this one.

Odd idea, not sure I would want to try it. I like my ketchup a little less solid than that.

Nope not for me, I like to control how much Ketchup I use as I am not a fan of a lot of it.  Besides it looks to bad in the picture. Think I will just stay with a little dab.
