Umm... sleep! And get on a better sleep schedule for long-term exhaustion.

I've been diagnosed with Hypersomnia as well but I have sleep apnea and severe Restless Leg Syndrome. I am up and down all night long and nap several times throughout the day. It's a frustrating life for sure!

Sleep. haha

That's the first thing that came to mind and I'm sticking by it. The best thing for extreme exhaustion is to get some rest and sleep.

I do get rest and sleep though. About 12 hours. This isn’t normal. Lol

I pray to our Father in Heaven. He is the only one who can give you all the strength that you will ever need. :angel11:

Maybe something in your diet or has your doctors done test for any type of autoimmune issues; hopefully they can get to the bottom of what is causing the exhaustion; I know that must be affecting your daily quality of life; hope you have some relief soon.

Have you been checked for MS or any other underlying disorder that causes sleepiness? What I do that helps me with that is running. If you get yourself on a regular schedule of running a certain amount every week, you will find you sleep a much sounder sleep and that you will need a lot less of it too. Exercise should be a real big help with this problem.

I've been checked for MS and a million different sleep disorders and the doctors found nothing. I am definitely down for exercise!!! I keep making excuses, but there was snow on the ground yesterday, for God's sake. When the weather improves, I'm taking my dog for a fairly leisurely run down the street, but my goal is to be able to make it down to my neighborhood Walmart (about a mile away) without a car. I feel like that's a cool goal. I'm carrying around a few extra pounds and have an anxiety disorder so exercise may be just what the doctor ordered for me.

Coffee, caffeine pills, and medication?  If you weren't exhausted before, you would be after doing those things.  It's all about diet.  Crap in, crap out.
