Waking up from a nap
« on: March 28, 2018, 03:44:17 pm »
I have shutters on my windows and thought it was am and couldn't focus my eyes on my watch for a bit. Talk about dazed and confused.

I have no shutters, but still think it's AM when it's PM and vice-versa (until I wake up completely).

I love a good nap, especially on dark, rainy days.

I remember when I was a kid I'd taken a nap in the middle of the day... I woke up shortly before dinner.  I went outside and my father and older sister were chatting in the yard.  I approached them and asked when we were going to somewhere. They looked at me like I had 2 heads and asked me if I knew what day it was. I hadn't fully awaken and thought I'd missed an entire day.

I like taking a nap on a hammock under a few trees "without birds"  :glasses-nerdy: on a nice summer day!

It's only 9AM and I could already use a nap! Too bad you can't appreciate having enough time for naps as a kid...

Oh how I wish I could take a nap after a hectic day at the mission.  I get so tired and then when I get home it is impossible to fall asleep. My body is still  in overdrive and I dare not take one  late in the afternoon because then I won't go to sleep early. If I do then I am up at 4:30 in the  A.M and  can't get back to sleep. I often wonder if  something is wrong but I have always been this way even as a child.  I guess I am the weird one in my family.

I occasionally take a nap on Sunday afternoon but not any other time unless I'm not feeling well.  My little 20-30 minute nap can really make me fill better if I've had a busy Sunday am. Church, lunch, grandkids or whatever lol

I am not one to take naps in the afternoon and if I do, it last only about 5-10 minutes.  any longer than that, then I am out of wack for the rest of the day.
