Cats or Dogs? That is the question!

Its an age old question.  Can you really love both equally, or is there one you prefer more than the other?
I have both, and honestly, I love how independent my cat is, but I love the attention my dogs want! I would definitely say I have converted from a cat lover to a dog lover.

I love all animals but there is just something about dogs! I am most definitely a huge dog lover!

I have and love both equally.  You can have more fun with a dog and they are loyal, cats are very independent, but there is something special when a cat jumps in your lap, purring.

Doggies for me.  I wish I could say both but I'm allergic to cats.  Even when it comes to dogs there are certain breeds that don't trigger my allergies as bad... others that are equally as bad as cats.  At one time I owned 3 cocker spaniels.  Kept them shaved most of the time.

I am a cat person in fact there is one snuggled in my lap right now.  I am not a big dog fan (I guess to much exposure to rude poorly trained dogs).  There are individual dogs that I like .

We had cats when I was growing up, and after being attacked by a neighbors cat while watching him while they were on vacation I tend to avoid cats now.  I am a dog lover 100% and have to have one in my life. I have an wonderful dog named Bunches and I worry every day about something happening to her.  With a face like that what's not to love !!

  Because I have a service dog, I will have to pick a dog over a cat.  Cats can not carry things on their backs..

I love both equally, I have 2 dogs and a cat

my cat is very independent, but then so is one of my dogs, and he would rather you throw his ball all day long, the other dog just wants to lay in my lap

I don't have cats, so I love dogs more.  Cats are ok, but they are so aloof that they kinda lose the appeal to me.  Dogs want to be pet, but cats are all "ehh, whatever" even when you want to give them attention.  Not as fun to me.

I am a dog lover for most of my life.  My daughter had many dogs growing up and no cats but when she became an adult she got nothing but cats.  She loved her cats and I know they are lost and sad that she passed away.

I love both cats and dogs. If I had to choose which one I would have, I think I would choose a dog, just cause dogs seem more responsive than cats!

I have a JC  I love her, but had dogs in the past too. I have 4 frogs.

 I like cats but I love dogs.  Dogs are affectionate, loyal and give unconditional love. I grew up with an English setter, black lab and a chocolate lab.  They were the best dogs ever!
