In Minnesota we call them a  "hotdish"  (casserole) .  Do you like them ? I love tater tot casserole, lasagna, tuna, and good old fashion goulash, Do you have a favorite ??

Lasagna has to be top of the list.  Nothing can replicate my Grandmothers (she was Italian).

I guess macaroni and cheese is my favorite.  Lately I've been liking Cracker Barrel hash brown casserole.  Tomorrow going to see if I can make a copy cat version.

Been awhile since I've had a casserole. I just don't tend to make them. I do love them. Macaroni seems to be one of my favorite kinds of casserole's.  :clover: :clover: :clover: :clover: :clover: :clover: :clover: :clover:

One we make is a chicken, cheese, and mushroom casserole.  You cube chicken breast, place them into a casserole dish, add an egg, breadcrumbs, mushrooms, and top with mozzarella cheese.  I believe you are technically supposed to bread the chicken, but I get too lazy to do that so I just place it all together like this and it still comes out delicious anyway so I see no reason to change it now.

I make a tuna casserole once a month. It costs me less than four dollars to make and provides at least eight hearty meals. After watching a Netflix special on minimalism and dealing with people that say that they cannot live on food stamps I challenged myself to spend less on food, per day, than people on food stamps are allotted. I have managed to live on a dollar less/day than people on food stamps and tuna casserole certainly helps. Buying in bulk and using coupons makes this even more attainable but I do not calculate that into my a 'dollar less' statement. I buy five dozen eggs at a time which covers me for fifteen days. I do not buy any name brands and generally spend my Sunday mornings making up my meals for the week which is yet another bonus to making casseroles.

I enjoy casseroles as a side dish to a main course. My husband makes a fantastic noodle cheese and pimento casserole from scratch.

I love casseroles.  One of my favorite would have to be Lasagna.  Any dish I can put in the oven to cook while I'm working on the side dishes is my kind of cooking.   :female: :female: :female: :female:

Lasagna would have to be my favorite to eat but not to make lol.  I like goulash it is easy.  I want to like tuna casserole but just don't no matter how I try making it.  But yea in general I love casseroles.

We love casseroles and because they are easy to make ahead have them several times a week, because whoever gets home first can put it into the oven.

We make a lot of different casseroles and have enough left over to freeze for 2 more meals later in the month.

geez, I think everything goes together. I am the only one likes eggplant more than noodles. Everyone here has sensitivity to potatoes. Sometimes they shout at me you did it again, you mixed stuff together again! So, I learned that corn and peas is best as the side-dish lol yup I love casseroles.

Never thought of goulash as a casserole, more a soup. I  hate Tuna noodle casserole.

My top 3 favorite casseroles are in this order, chicken cordon blue casserole, lasagna, and tater tot casserole
