Family meal times are precious.  It's one of few times we join together to talk about just about anything.  Sometimes the meals are a feast and other times nothing more than p.b. and j with some chips and a glass of milk.  I've never forgotten to feed my children... I have however cheated and considered banana splits a form of nutrition.... dairy, protein, fruit, fiber etc...

Seriously? That's like forgetting your baby is in the car... I certainly never "forget" to eat. There are times at work when I get really busy and I might not have time to do anything but grab a granola bar, but come on.

If you forget to feed your kids then maybe you shouldn't have kids to start with.  They should be first and foremost in your thoughts at all times.

No. Never. My kids and husband come first. I always cook and make sure they are served first and I always prepare my plate last.

uhhh    No  they wouldn't let me  LOL  when they were smaller they would keep  telling me "i'm hungry " and that was an hour after they ate ,,,,,    I got a childs clock and taped it to the fridge and after each time they ate I would move the hands on the clock to the next time they could eat ( a meal, not a snack ) LOL   it worked,,  they learned how to tell time and they quit bugging me about eating every hour  LOL

Not a joke and considering how so many Americans are spoiled  then a lil bit of suffering could do a lot of good.    There are actually children that do not get 2-3 meals a day whether  because of finances or the parents.   I would give my best golf clap tp anyone who taught their kids lessons with less food.  Going 12-18-24 hours w/o a meal definitely is an attention getter.
