When I first started I tried to aim for at least $50 a month and I did pretty good the first 3 months, but things have slowed down a lot since then.

Not easy tp make that much a day.  I usually make about 50 every 2 months.  Have to find ways to get paid more.

That’s right. Sometimes, you should have an account with more than one online site for making money. I do.

For the first time I got a 1099 from paypal. I had no idea I even made that much.

I had no clue that pay pal even sent out 1099's. that is good to know because I use that site a lot to get paid for the items that I crochet and sell

This seems to be one of the first questions people ask when I tell them about making a few dollars online.  It seems my answer doesn't have them convinced.  Very few have signed under me.  Guess I'm not much of a saleswoman.  None the less there was a time I thought I would have to file.  I didn't do anything but survey sites for a few years.  I was spread among so many I never did have to file anything with a single one.

I cant seem to get the referrals either. No matter how hard I try I am lucky if they do their first offer and I get the $2 bonus from them.

"Sometimes I wonder if somebody found an envelope stuffed with cash and they decided to keep that if they would report it to the government as income lol"
LOL if you robbed a bank and got thousands of dollars in one day would you report that as income too?

True story: my mom found a $50 bill on the sidewalk.  Picked it up.  Spent it on groceries the next day.
Another true story: my dad found a money clip with $150 dollars in it on the sidewalk.  He said that some drunk person must have dropped it on Saturday night, and that's why it was on the sidewalk Sunday morning.  Paid two utility bills with that windfall.
The most money I ever found on the ground was only $1.00!

Let's say you found a wallet or a gold ring with a value of more than $600.  Do you tell the government about it? "The sidewalk gave it to me"?  Is it subject to the gift tax?  ;)

No, I wouldn't tell the government about it.  And if I make less than $600 on a site like this I don't report that because per their rules I don't have to.  If I found money and could find the owner I would return it.  I would never assume 'some drunk" must have lost it.

I found a $50 bill one night and I knew who lost it and I contacted the person and returned it.  I found $100 bill in the floor at Walmart and having no idea who it belonged to I kept it.  If they had run an ad in the classifieds saying they lost it and where I would have given it back.

I find money all the time while I am cleaning.

I used to clean for kmart and one day I found a $20 on the floor.

I don't think it is possible to make 1.64 a day on here. I think I only ever made that much a day probably about 20 times on here. :-X

Yes it is.  There are people who make enough every year on this site to get a 1099.  I cash out almost every month.  It IS possible to make money on this and other sites. But you have to put forth a lot of effort.

I am sure that its possible if I had the time to sit here for a few hours every day or be able to sit here until I reach that make.

Of course that figure doesn't have the $1 pic posting bonus or the $3 forum posting bonus. between the 2 of them if you get them every month that's $48 in the year.

I figured K-Mart was like other retail and the employees cleaned it. Got to be more careful these days cause they have cameras every where and they will say you should have turned it in.

If you take an average of 30 days and $25 that is just 84 cents a day to make cash out.  You make more some days and you make less some days.  But it will average 84 cents a day.  I don't spend that much time on this site.  I spend more time on other sites where I am doing really well.  I don't usually remember to do the $1 pic bonus.

$600 a year is an average of $1.64 a day. That is entirely possible and shouldnt take hours a day
