I'm single and I just work today, nothing special, but I hope you all have a great and wonderful Valentine's Day.

Yep I am single my darling husband of 34 years passed in Jan 2013.  I really miss him and remember so many cute and sweet valentines with him.  But such is life and we have to take it as it comes.

I think it's great that singles have actually taken over the holiday and turned it into basically a holiday for anyone who loves anyone else (i.e. grand-kids loving grandparents.  Singles loving their pets etc.)  Of course I think card manufactures like Hallmark are to blame for this.  They probably figured it should just be a love holiday and not a lovers holiday.  This way they can sell a lot more cards.
