Do you believe in an annulment to end a marriage?

If that’s how you want to end it, it’s your choice.

It depends on the circumstances.  Mainly  how long the marriage lasted. I know a couple who after 20 years of marriage had theirs anulled.  That to me does not seem right . :rainbow: :peace: :snowflake:

If you don't want to get yourself in that predicament, then don't get married, it's just wasting that other persons time and money, cost to get married, cost to get out of marriage.

I don't see anything wrong with annulments. Some marriages don't last.

It depends upon the circumstances and I guess someone could fool you bad enough to want to end it right away - I really don't know what the requirements are time wise and reason wise.  I was married for 34 years so this is the first time for me to think about this - sad either way anulment or divorce.

If you're a Catholic married to a non-Catholic don't think it matters how long you've been married you can get an annulment.  Even if you have kids.  So what does that make the kids??  The church can twist it around, blame it on the non-Catholic, run it thru the process and BAM! you've never been married.  Doesn't sound right to me but that's just my opionion.

Annulment is primarily for religious reasons right?  Or if the marriage was entered by false pretenses?

It's all legalities & semantics that result in the same as a divorce - the couple splits apart.

How ever a person wants to end it, is their choice & I have no problems with it.... just hope it is civil.

So why bother going to church? It is supposed scripturally  to be married by God right? And the only way God says the marriage is over is either by death or a mate commits adultry. The innocent mate can forgive if they want to.

So now as we see in this satanic and independent world you can get a divorce for NOT taking the garbage out!!

What a joke....use God in the equation to get married and the hec with HIM if one wants out for their reasons!

But the direction this world is heading in with gays being married in churches as its natural......shouldnt surprise us how EZ it is to get a divorce. They already took God outta the equation with that.

Would it be better that ppl stay together who hate each other or they kill each other ?
