How do I get referrals in 2018??Is it even worth it?
« on: January 28, 2018, 10:36:54 pm »
I'm sure this has been spoken about numerous times.  I've seen people making $300 to $1000 just for the amount of referrals they have. All they have to do is make the minimum cashout.I've tried posting my link on facebook and I've come to the conclusion that nobody will click my link. Even when I'm showing proof I've been paid a few times from this site. I was lucky enough to get 3 people sign up but low and behold trhey aren't active. I'm not trying to get rich by any means off this. I'm a disabled veteran and veterans benefits aren't what everybody thinks they are cracked up to be. If I can get one of these sites to give me a cushion from using my income that would make a whole lot of difference in my world. Any tips you have would be greatly appreciated.

Referrals are rough... next to impossible to make pay, IMHO. You can use paid advertising on the net , like Google adwords... you'll probably get a lot of referrals, but then most of them won't do anything after the first couple of days. For example, I spent over $100 to advertise for another site and got over 300 referrals. Guess how much I've mad off them? A few dollars! Most have been inactive for over a year.
My top 5 referrals on that same site are all people I know and spent nothing to get them to join. Those 5 alone have made me over $40.
You could also do flyers at places like laundromats and supermarkets. That costs only for paper and ink.

They are difficult to get. I have over 50 and none are active. They don't know what they are missing.

At one points I had 10 referrals . Now I have 0 active. I think people just think they can sign up and they will get paid doing nothing. They have to do the work. Do you think I earned close to $2000 in the past 5 years doing the minimum? I am not as active as I used to be but I still get cashouts every 2 or 3 months :peace:

First of all thank you for your service. I am retired living on Social Security (so I know what you mean) and have been on Fusioncash over 10 years and it has made a huge difference for me. I do have over 880 referrals (most inactive) and even made friends with a few of the active ones. I did pay for some advertising way back, but now I focus on free ads where people who do this sort of work congregate and try to appeal to those who are not happy with what they are making.

I think the key is to create your own ads and make them attractive enough to get read and generate curiosity enough to get them on a list so you can slowly get them to think about it. If they reach the point where they decide they can do what you are doing, they may give it a try. Yes most of them will not prove to be worthwhile, but if you get enough even a few will add up (as you can see from my banner), but that took me consistent effort and thinking of new ideas all the time.

The real difference was when I started using the money I make here to invest in better ways to produce more. For example, I just spent $70 to buy software I can use to create Mobile Responsive websites and splash pages to advertise with. Years ago I spent $300 to buy Camtasia for making videos (like the ones I did for Fusioncash) and it has paid off and still does.

The bottom line is not to fall into a trance and just mindlessly click, keep thinking of what you can do to do better.
