I've never had vertigo myself, but I do know that it's an incapacitating and scary condition for those who've experienced it. I'm glad you're on the mend, and hopefully you'll never experience it again. :rose:

I sometimes wonder if I have vertigo. I am always dizzy/light headed and I have always thought it was just anxiety but sometimes I wonder if it could be something else.

I used to get that every so often with no rhyme or reason and the only thing that seemed to help was taking seasick pills.

No fun is it.  Mine comes and goes, but the one thing it does do is keep me off of ladders. I have had  2  spills and learned my lesson.  So hubby bless his heart does the climbing and helps get the top shelves in the kitchen clean for me.  For me they are useless because I can't reach them but good storage for items I very seldom use.

God yes!

I have normal vertigo and also something called "positional vertigo." Positional vertigo happens when I lie on the bed and turn my head in a certain direction, and the entire room spins.

The rest of the time, I literally have to hold on to things to keep from falling down. It's annoying because it prevents me from doing things like sweeping things from the roof, etc.

I've been told it's not life threatening, UNLESS, of course, you go roller skating down I 75 while experiencing symptoms.

THAT would NOT be good, and would be light threatening.

Welcome to the spinners' club!

I sometimes do like when I suddenly wake up, get up start walking & I get dizzy bumping against the walls. Don't know why. My mom gets it a lot due to a busted ear drum.
