PTC malware threat

Well, chillingly enough, I got an email from Flash tonight saying something about a security problem and i need to click on and update my Flash. This email was sent to one of my Apple emails that I almost never use. I got the same red F symbol that I was getting in my down loads and pop ups and that is attached to my sponsored emails on FC when I do PTC.

I am not going to touch this email.  I am going to call Apple Care tomorrow and talk to them about it.

You can go directly to the Adobe Flash site, and I believe you can check your version.  I just never click anything in an e-mail unless it is something I am expecting from a friend.  I will always go to the site myself.
 I get all sorts of notifications from Banks (so many different ones), Itunes, Paypal etc at a hotmail address I use for offers, mailing lists and other non-important stuff (all that important stuff goes to a different address) so I know it is all phishing (I always report it as such to Microsoft).

Avast, AVG don't like certain sites if there a harmful site or not. I've gotten nothing off clicking those and i do have my adblocker in place to block anything else that would of popped up if i didnt have it running for a just in case scenerio

This has been happening to me for about a week now.  My antivirus blocks the site and gives me the message about the malware threat.

Yes, it says it is a low grade malware threat and the site is blocked for me every time. I am grateful for that as there is no way around not clicking a sponsor's ad. They appear to all go through the same website address, which is safeharbour something, I can't remember now.

It tells me the site is infected with low severity malware. I'm OK with the block. Malware of any grade can create havoc!

Well, I got an answer to my ticket about it, basically said it could be a false positive like someone here said, but they referred to surveys, and I am not getting the notice on surveys. It's mostly on the sponsor ads in the paid to click and it's the same site every time. mcj.safeharborlinked dot com. So I'm not fretting about it anymore, I hope it's all good!!
