Probably whatever age is appropriate to have your ears pierced.

I'm not crazy about girls having a pierced nose, but it's better than tattoos. Never really liked the concept of girls with tats. Seems like a guy thing to me.

Definitely at least 16.  Especially if they want a ring.  The stud, if tiny, no earlier age than freshman year in high school.  It will just look tacky and they will be made fun of by others in a younger grade.

I don't think that there should be an age before somebody gets a nose piercing, but I think that the person should be old enough to understand when and where they can or cannot wear them!!!!!  :) :) :) :) :)

I think 18 is the youngest age to get a piecing or tattoo. I got mine when I was 18 years old. I don't regret it but I don't know if I would have still gotten it at 25 if I had not don't it already. When you are a little older your focus changes.

I was in college before I got my nose pierced. I took it out when I had an office job that didn't allow piercings. Re-pierced it in my early 30's.

I would think 18 is the youngest age.

I think 15 or 16 is a reasonable age to get a piercing, because by 18 (like others are suggesting on waiting until) they'll be wanting a tattoo, haha. People, especially young ones, want to experiment with their look, and getting piercings is just part of that. It's nothing sinister or weird, haha. When I was 13 my mom was fine with taking me to get my lip pierced. Besides that, all I did through my teens was change my hair color, which my mother totally condoned. No one should take things like this too seriously.  :)

OMG, I think of pain when I hear this and even more pain when I see people with their tongues pierced.  Myself, I think these type piercings are appropriate after high school graduation.  However, with that said, kids need to be reminded that some career environments will frown on having such piercings!
