Up date....This past weekend there was a family reunion and my daughter and Grandkids attended (I did not go)......my daughter asked my son "why didn't Ma come" and then my Granddaughter who is 12 said "lets not talk about that woman while i'm eating"  How would you take that?

Obviously your daughter has said some bad stuff to your grand daughter. Your son should have said something to his niece. First off telling her your grandmother is NOT "that woman"!

I am so sorry for your sadness but I don't know what to advise you to do other than what you have previously said you have tried.  I have loved ones that I am estranged from and I just had to move on - I agree with the person who said she will regret it when you are gone but you can't make her realize that it doesn't seem like.  I'm sorry and I will certainly pray for you and HER.

It's heartbreaking when family doesn't want to talk with each other.  Especially since in this day an age there are easy ways to keep in touch.  I will pray for you but there must be something to reconcile with each other.  She must be angry at you for something if she doesn't want anything to do with you.  Maybe continually reaching out.  Try Facebook or messenger.  She doesn't need to see you.  Just try to mend the pain she is feeling and perhaps you both will heal.
