I am so missing my daughter and Grandkids. It's gone on 5 years now and today I am just feeling it even more. I don't like the scary thoughts i'm feeling, please pray for me PLEASE !!

I'm sorry.  People need to think about the long term.  One day you won't be here for her to be mean to and she will regret what she is doing.  And I don't know what you mean by scary thoughts but if you are in any way thinking of harming yourself TALK TO SOMEONE!  Things will get better.  She may never change but you have other family that loves you.  Hope you can feel better.

Awww, I'm so sorry to hear that Cateyes. Have you tried to make amends with her? I don't want to pry but maybe you should try as hard as you can. Write her letters until she comes around. Send her "Thinking of you" cards for her and the kids. She will regret it when it's too late and you are not there for her anymore. I wish you the best of luck and hopefully she will come around. Meditation works wonders for manifestation!

She has done all of that.  From previous posts she has done everything she can.  The ball is in the daughter's court and for reasons I do not know she doesn't want to make any efforts.  I do not know how you can hate the person who gave you life.

I understand your feelings.  My son is doing a semester of school in Costa Rico.  The longest he was ever gone before was 7 days.  It is hard to have him gone so far away and for so long.

I wish I knew what you can do to make things better but it seems like you have tried everything.  It’s in your daughters hands now.  All you can do is pray she will finally come around again.  It breaks my heart that she treats you like this. Up date....This past weekend there was a family reunion and my daughter and Grandkids attended (I did not go)......my daughter asked my son "why didn't Ma come" and then my Granddaughter who is 12 said "lets not talk about that woman while i'm eating"  How would you take that?

WOW, not really sure how to answer that.  I have no idea why your daughter would ask about you.  What did your son answer?  As far as your granddaughter, (don’t talk about THAT woman while I’m eating) is (sorry); but a slap in your face.  Any hate she has for you is hate that has been taught to her and I assume by your daughter.  I don’t honestly mean to make you feel bad, but that’s how I perceive it.  I’m still praying you and your daughter can make up.  No matter what, you are still her mom and deserve respect if nothing more.  Maybe your son can help the two of you get together.

OMG, today is my birthday and I just got an email from my daughter saying "Happy Birthday Mom" how do I respond my friends? I mean it's been years...do I ignore, do I say thank you ?....I know I sound ridiculous right now and my heart is going a million beats a min. HELP !!

My son didnt say anything Nancy, he said that he didnt want to get involved, which I can kind of understand. My son said that my daughter didnt say anything to her daughter but I think that that was not the time or place to cause a scene.
