taking a train in a big city to and from work is different than taking a train from one city to another.
you do always meet interesting people.

I wanted to do that, I knew this would be in my time.

I was never on a train so this summer a group of friends and I took a train ride.  We were on it for 5 hours, just riding around.  We went into the dining car and were served a light lunch. I really enjoyed it, will do it again.

I like train rides. I'd love to take one across the country sometime.

I did it once with my family. Its a good ride but sleeping on a train is rough

I went to my sister's with my daughter and her husband.  They needed to come back early so I stayed and took Amtrak back home.  It was exciting but I had never ridden a train before and had no idea what I was doing so I ended up with an aisle seat and it got dark before we got even halfway to my town.  I'd love to do it again but I'd time it so it would be light my entire trip. I have some granddaughters I'd like to take with me as they've never been on a train.  Maybe this summer will be a good time to make a trip.

I really like train rides. There's something relaxing and old-fashioned about them.

I don't care for train rides. I do, however, really enjoy hearing the train. I live about five miles from the tracks and it's nice to hear it.

I've only rode the small trains, not  long ride's. Would like to take a longer ride on a train from a city to another city, maybe someday. For now I'll just be happy with the small trains I have rode!!!!!
