Bankruptcy....
« on: September 25, 2009, 06:05:31 pm »
I have to file bankruptcy.  I feel bad about it but I have had a significant drop in pay.  I have talked to other people and they have to file bankruptcy too.  I just can't afford to pay my bills.  :(  Anyone out there experiencing the same thing?

Sorry to hear about that. I'm actually not but there are a lot of people around my neighborhood in the same predicament. Lots of houses up for sale due to it that are being bought by the banks. So you're not alone! Keep your chin up, soldier!

Not a chance, with the Internet available to everyone here and all the people looking for ways to bring in extra money, it's like owning a goldmine. You just need to figure out how to expand on all the pennies you make and turn them into thousand dollar bills.

I understand your situation. I filed bankruptcy because I could not afford to pay all my bills and provide for my two children as a single parent. It is a hard decision to make especially if you are responsible but we have to do what is necessary. At the current time I am remarried but my husband has lost his job and have only been able to gain part-time employment. We are struggling too and although I cannot do bankruptcy again it looks like we may have to give up our home and we have already lost one vehicle.

The economy is tough at the moment but we must do what is best to survive! The positive side of all of this is that once one hits rock bottom, in time, one will climb back to the top of the mountain:-)

Hi, Old Buddy, I wish I knew more about making money on the internet. I hve good credit but only state assisted income due to (hopefully) temporary disabilities. Most income opportunities I see on the internet are :bs:. Have a good one!

I am sorry for you.  I have struggled hard for a long time, but I feel like things are going to turn around.  I really think that old buddy is right.  I just never knew there were opportunities or I didn't believe they would work.  I have always been someone who is willing to work hard.  I just needed to harness that and turn it into something that I was in control of, instead of some boss taking credit for everything I did.  Keep your chin up and keep trying!  Do what you have to do.

I have great sympathy for anyone who finds themselves in this position.  I have been lucky, lucky, lucky to have always found a way to make the bills (sometimes with a little help from my family) but things are looking much more difficult lately and I really do need to find a job soon!

Most income opportunities I see on the internet are :bs:.

That just means you need to be aware of that and find a way around them, which is what I have done. Fusioncash is the doorway to having the startup funds free so you never need to spend your own.

You're always mentioning how you make a ton of money, but why don't you just tell everyone about it...?

There alot of people out there in your situation. When I was 24 I found myself getting a divorce and all the bills were in my name because his credit sucked. I found myself stuck with all the bills. Than I found out I was preg too. I had no choice but to file bankruptcy. I was living with me parents making min wage and now having a baby.

I remarried in 1998. My husband is in the army and was deployed in 2003!!!!!!!! I had to cut my hours to part time so I could be here for our child b4 and after school and I had to leave my job over the summers. That really put us behind in all of our bills. We were so far behind I tried credit counseling and that was a joke. They wanted us to pay more per month on our bills than we were currently paying to get them paid off. How are you suppose to pay more when you are contacting these people because you are having trouble paying them in the first place DUH
We wound up having to file bankruptcy. We were doing fine until his deployment. I got to see my husband on occasionally because he was still in the US thank god. I found out i was preg with our 2nd child in 2004.

In 2007 my husband lost his job. I was only working part time. Thank god we had that payment protection plan on our credit cards or we would have been in trouble. We did not have to pay on any cr cards the whole time he was laid off which was almost a year. He finally found a job in 2008 but because of his hours I had to give up my part time job to stay home with our little one, our other child is in school. Does not make sense to go to work FT and pay half my money for day care. And my older child would have had to stay home alone all summer. I did not think she was old enough and i dont like that to begin with. Too many kids get in trouble that way.

I am currently looking for PT work to help pay off our bills. My little one goes to school next yr so I will be a littel more flex with the hours i can work.
