Super Bowl anyone??

Do you watch ? Do you go to a party ? Or do you have a party? And if you have a party what do you make for snacks ??  Just think about the mounds of chicken wings that will be chowed down !!

I do not like watching football in group settings, but we do sometimes go to Superbowl parties with friends, and I DESPISE watching games at sports bars or restaurants.  When I watch any football game (SB included), I want to see and hear what it going on on the TV broadcast. At SB parties and other group setting there is too much extra banter and conversation going on for my liking.  Don't get me wrong, I enjoy gatherings with friends and am a sociable person, but if I am really interested in a game, I want to WATCH THE GAME!   LOL!!!


Unless it is an announcer I don't particularly care for, I like to be able to hear and take in the game analysis and I like to hear the referee's explanation of significant penalties or a complicated replay review.  None of that is really possible at a Superbowl party.   


But if we get invited, I still go and will sometimes plant myself in a spot next to the TV to catch as much as I can. I still socialize and I DO have a good time and enjoy the food.  My favorite SB party food is probably buffalo chicken/cheese dip.


Here's hoping that the Patriots DO NOT GET there and instead a black and gold AFC team is able to hoist the Lombardi trophy on February 4!!!

I love watching the super Bowl in the comfort of my home with my family.

I don't like sports in general.  If I'm going to watch anything it would be Cubs baseball.  I usually groan when it's football season again.  It's the only game where 2 minutes can last 2 weeks.  Ugh!  It's ALWAYS on at church in the evening.  Our Pastor is a big football guy.

My husband and I watch it at home.  We fix various appetizers, stuffed mushrooms, deviled eggs, wings, spinach dip and some others.  Eat all during the game.  Hope it's a good one this year.

We used to go to and host Super Bowl parties the first few years we were married. Then we had kids and it was just too much of a hassle to do the Super Bowl thing. Now that we're almost empty-nesters, we just don't have any interest in professional football anymore. Maybe after we retire we'll get into the swing of it again!

We never do the party thing.  Usually we just cook ribs and such and eat it while the game is on.  Guess we aren't very social in our old age lol

I might watch a little bit of it if someone has it on in my house but football is really not my thing so if I miss all of it. it is no big deal at all.
