Look how much the NY Knicks wasted on Phil Jackson.
After examining his record with the LA Lakers, I would suggest it might have been a problem with New York.

Jackson had the players in Chi and LA...he didnt have them with NY.He couldnt even pick a good coach in NY.

I am a NY fan and i loved Phil as a player.Just think they spent too much on him as President or GM.NY did the same with Larry Brown.Isiah was a joke too.

Best move they did in last 10 yrs was hire Donny.

But getting back to Gruden,im not sure i pay him that much,but i think he will turn Raiders around.

Thoughts on him taking the job?  Why in the world wouldn't he take it?  I'm honestly not a football fan and I don't know what other coaches are making, but $100 million for ten years sounds insane to me for a coach.
