Stupid Co-Workers

I used to work. I still cant get help from the government. Its crazy that so many get help.

The majority of the people who are on government benefits do not deserve them.  That is why it upsets me so badly.  I do not care to see people get help who need help.  People who are truly disabled.  But these people who are just lazy and pop out baby after baby do not need to be drawing more and more money off the government. Or the working people since that is where the money comes from.

I have had that problem, I ignored it as long as I could, until day I had, had enough of it and told both of them to shut up.  They went to my boss and he told them he had been wanting to tell them both the same thing and let both of them go. Sure was nice afterwards.  Some of the other employees thanked me for standing up to them.  I also have a sister that is the same way. I try to ignore her too, but put up with a lot, the day my father passes is the day I will let her have it. She is driving my brother and I up the wall. But  father dotes on her and since my brother and I are the ones who do for him all the time we keep quite. Someday though.

One of them is really mad at me and the other is taking her side because she jumped on my Friday and again yesterday and I stood up to her.  She cringes every time she comes any where close to me.  And will not speak to me.  Just makes things tense.  Management knows what is going on but they are not going to do anything.

I've worked in toxic environments before.  Usually if you can "wait it out", the troublemakers end up getting fired (or quit) and it's great when they do.  Other times, they've gotten promoted into mgmt positions and when that's the case, it's best just to find another job ASAP, for sanity's sake. 

Unfortunately that will not happen.  They have it made.  They are not going to quit.  And it is hard to fire someone.  I won't be at this specific location (most likely) for a lot longer.  I am just a contractor.  But they can still make things harder for me.  I don't know if they are jealous or what.  Although, I will say that I done a contract job at this same place a few years ago and there was a woman who gave me a hard time and told on me all the time and lied and other stuff.  She did get fired not long after I left. haha

I agree, you find them in every work situation, but you can also find them out of work situations.  I think some people are just plain mean.

Sadly, these unhappy people are at most of our jobs. When some people are unhappy with their life, they have to start drama elsewhere so that they don't focus on their issues. I dealt with that last year. Sometimes I felt as though I was walking on eggshells. Not a good feeling.

Oh trust me, I think my co workers take the cake. They gossip all day long in the office, mean while I have my own office and stay quiet and mind my own business while my boss who"use to be my friend" no longer speaks to me and only communicates with me through email only. She ignores my phone calls and texts. We've worked together for 22 years, I'm 45 and she's 47. We are pushing 50 people! I feel like I'm in a baby camp! She won't talk to me about what happened 2 years ago but it really started like almost 6 years ago when I was trying to help another co-worker because she was getting bullied by another co-worker which is my bosses friend. Forgive and move on! But apparently she cannot do that. I can't wait to have change in my life and get a new job. She'll be sorry she ever acted this way. I am a tremendous asset to my office, they will be lost without me. Oh well, I'm hoping to get a job interview with a law firm this Wednesday, send good vibes my way and pray that I get it!

Good luck on the new job.  But I still think my co-workers are worse. haha  I swear it gets worse every day.  And we are to the point of this one doesn't speak to that one and if this one does speak she is rude and hateful. We have two that are peons that "think" they are everyone's boss.  I swear the manager needs to sit every one down and have a heart to heart and set a certain two on the straight and narrow.  But I think they must have something on him because he will not do anything and just lets them have their way no matter what they do.

The only name that fits. There are two women who work in my office area that are constantly arguing and fighting and telling on each other and talking about each other. That is unless they need to join forces to attack somebody else. They are about to drive everybody in the entire building crazy.

They talk nice to your face when you are there or when they need something from you and then when you aren't there they talk about you. I do not get why people act like this.

Apparently you cannot be fired for being a stupid trouble maker. I sure wish you could be though.

FYI I do not talk to either of them unless I have to.  When you work with others in an office setting you have to communicate with your co-workers.  And it doesn't matter if you talk to them or not they will run their mouth about you.

I work with a bunch of different people, and I hear them talking low about some people. I think they should keep that to themselves until after hours. People should be nice to people. The work place seems to be the most place that others talk about others!
